Eo8 PRESENTS: ROANOKE at THE HIGH WATT on 10/3/18

We’re so excited to present The Lil Smokies’ upcoming show at The High Watt on Wednesday, October 3rd, and one of the many reasons why is that we also love the supporting band, Nashville emerging Americana outfit Roanoke.

Roanoke is helmed by Taylor Dupuis and Joey Beesley, who followed their respective musical paths to Nashville–fate intersected those paths while both were working at local haunt, B.B. King’s Blues Club. As the pair began to write together, they noticed their voices blended well too, and after rounding out the lineup with talented friends, Roanoke was born.

In June, the band unveiled Where I Roam, a new five-song EP which was written partly in a cabin in the woods in Michigan during a band getaway and recorded in East Nashville. The EP embodies the traveling life and showcases those beautifully-blended vocals, road-worn rhythms, and trickling mandolin riffs. The group’s chemistry is palpable and listening is a true delight.
