NEW MUSIC MONDAY!

“Dime Store Pistol” – C A Y N E

“Jon Buscema, the brilliant producer behind ‘Dime Store Pistol’ and ‘In The Weeds’ (released 2017) and I were hoping to make a song that lights a fire in anyone who listens to it- male and female alike,” says Jessica Cayne, the pop/rock powerhouse behind C A Y N E, of her new single. “I hope ‘Dime Store Pistol’ makes any woman listening feel like a femme fatale and puts a bit more swagger in her step. Power is sexy. I hope the chick who listens feels really powerful.” We can vouch that this song’s foot-stomping, swamp-infused, soulful sound definitely left us feeling like we were eight feet tall and more than bulletproof. Press play and get ready to grunt:

“Body Like That” – The Eiffels

Los Angeles-based indie pop outfit The Eiffels channel some serious 80s-esque vibes in their new song/video, “Body Like That.” Shimmering guitar, sassy vocals, and Miami Vice-like color scheme make this one pure fun. “We wanted to make something in the spirit of the classic music videos we grew up with,” frontman Sean Ulbs explains. It’s a guilty pleasure without the guilt. Check it out:

“Turbo” – Are You Having Fun Yet

All the way from the southern shores of Norway, Are You Having Fun Yet brings their rollicking brand of indie guitar-driven pop in the form of new tune “Turbo.” Crunchy guitar licks and sharp vocals rounded out with some dreamy reverb provide a listening experience that is beyond fun. We’re definitely keeping this band on our radar:
