It’s no secret that relationships take work. It’s been said that peace isn’t the absence of conflict, it’s the ability to deal with the conflict. Our culture is rife with examples of our decreasing ability to solve problems constructively through civilized discourse fueled by empathy in action.

New York-based rockers Jeremy & The Harlequins tackle the subject in their song “Nothing Civil,” a track featured on their forthcoming release Remember This, set for release on August 17th via Yep Roc Records. Today, the band unleashes the new video for “Nothing Civil”; frontman Jeremy Fury laments that we’re “Making battle plans instead of making sense” with his signature snarl and swagger, as the group distills the state of affairs around us into their music.

Jeremy & The Harlequins will embark on a summer tour supporting acclaimed roots rocker Chuck Prophet (see below for dates). Click here to purchase or stream “Nothing Civil” on all platforms.
