It’s been said that nothing worth having comes easy, an idea embraced by Nashville popster Dela Kay, in her new single, “Deep Love.” The song narrows its focus on the tough question we all must ask at one point in a relationship – “Are you my forever love?” Kay explains that she wrote the song after contemplating how every relationship seems to go through periods of change, which draws parallels to the new sounds she experiments with on the track.

Atmosphere swirls throughout the song, anchored by Kay’s penetrating vocals—blended together, “Deep Love” makes for one delicious candy-coated electro-pop groove.

“I think we all go through difficult times with our significant other and try to repair what may be broken,” she explains. “In my opinion, love should never be easy. Anything worth having is worth fighting for.”
