We at East of 8th are die-hard coffee nerds, and can honestly admit that without a daily dose of its warm, caffeinated goodness, we’d all be hot blubbering messes. We can also be regularly observed finding solace at any one of Nashville’s plethora of stellar coffee shops, so imagine our delight when friend and previously-featured Nashville artist Ryan Harris Brown asked us to premiere his new video which showcases two of our favorite things–coffee and music!

Aptly set at Honest Coffee Roasters, “Confidence Don’t Go,” the second single off of Brown’s 2017 album Stranded In The Present Tense,┬áprovides vulnerable and open examination into his journey west. Detailing his move to Nashville and the internal trials he experienced, this song allows listeners to step inside his mind and be vulnerable alongside him. The live video, filmed by Joe Gomez, matches the intimacy intended by Brown’s lyrics and captures these personal feelings of change.

Brown delivers “Confidence Don’t Go” with delicate finger-picking and James Taylor-esque tenderness. Cozy up and enjoy!

Without further ado, East of 8th proudly presents “Confidence Don’t Go” by Ryan Harris Brown:
