After playing to a crowd of over 160 at 12th and Porter in early April, and on the heels of their first international stint, The New Schematics bring the “Born Without Borders Tour” back home to Nashville tonight, May 25, 2016 at Mercy Lounge.
The New Schematics have recently released a reimagining of their debut EP; instead of taking songs and simply making them acoustic, the new (Unplugged+) EP takes the five songs from their debut, and completely rearranges and reimagines them with vastly different instrumentation and production stylings. The EP also adds a new track that has become a live favorite for fans, called “Drug”.
The band has hit the ground running this year, having already played 30 shows in 25 cities in 2016. You can catch The New Schematics alongside Blinds, Michael McQuaid, and Twiggs on tonight at 8:30pm at Mercy Lounge before the band takes their tour to the West Coast for the first time, playing shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Tucson, and more.
