Active Bird Community is back with new music, y’all! Their brand new single, “Pick Me Apart,” is like a delicious slice of indie rock apple pie. The song is “about coping with a long distance relationship. It portrays feelings of longing for someone who is not always around. It expresses the realization that although it’s not easy, it’s worth it when that person comes back into your life and picks you apart,” says bassist Zach Slater.
Hold onto your hats though, because the band has a brand new nine-song album called I’ve Been Going Swimming that will be available digitally on October 23rd (cassettes will be available in the fall via Boom Boy Records)!
