“UNHOLY WAR” – NEW VIDEO from JACOB BANKS

We are completely enamored with Nigerian-born, Birmingham, England-raised rising singer/songwriter Jacob Banks, who recently unveiled the video for his debut single “Unholy War.” The anthemic track is from his upcoming EP, The Boy Who Cried Freedom, set for release this April. The video is the first of a two-part narrative that Jacob wrote and co-directed himself – a short cinematic effort shot against the majestic Colorado mountain landscape featuring a father and son duo playing the protagonists opposing a Freddy Kruger-esque villain.

“The visual is inspired by real life; a lot of people are marked and oppressed for things that are out of their control,” explains Banks. “This video is just the beginning of a story that will be told in several parts and in different ways throughout the project.”

Banks makes intriguing music, a blend of vintage soul and modern production that will invade your marrow and rock you to the core. Don’t miss this:
