If you know me (and if you don’t, we should totally hang out sometime!), you know that I love “Stranger Things”. I LOVE IT. So, when I saw the video for “Stay Gold”, the new single from Nashville’s Guthrie Brown, sharing it with you, beloved readers, was a no-brainer.
Though the video is a one-frame movie shot on an iPhone, its aesthetic hearkens back to those shoulder-sitting camcorder days, and features Brown performing a house show with special appearances from the series’ characters–yes, even Barb.
“Stay Gold” is pure fun, and is a solid sneak peak of the goodness in store on Brown’s forthcoming EP, Natural, due out on November 18th.
