Four friends from Southern California making the kind of homegrown west coast indie that’s come to dominate the alt airwaves in recent years, Weathers come off like an unholy cross between The Neighbourhood and The Kooks and arrive with a bang on lead single “I Don’t Wanna Know” this week. With all the makings of a summertime smash-in-waiting, it’s a stadium-sized debut, and an immensely promising taste of things to come from the Los Angeles upstarts.
