The first “Nashville Weekender Presents…” series will be at The Basement East in Nashville next Wednesday, January 20th at 8pm (Doors at 7:30). The unique lineup includes personally hand-picked artists by Nashville Weekender’s founder Olivia Burd, who plans to make this a quarterly showcase!
Caleb Groh will headline with support from Jonathan Timm, CAPPA, Poema, and Liz Bohannon. With Caleb Groh’s Vampire Weekend-esque, tribal, electronic pop, Jonathan Timm’s lonesome pioneer ballads, CAPPA’s digital pop in the key of Lorde, Poema’s new singer/songwriter turned Haim sound, and Liz Bohannon’s sexy, dark heartbreak, this show is a must-see!
The Nashville Weekender is a virtual space for off-the-beaten-pathfinders to make one-of-a-kind plans by spreading awareness through providing a digital hub for local artists in Nashville. Now, Nashville Weekender is extending its services to provide specially-curated local music lineups.
Tickets for the 21+ show are $10 here and $12 at the door.
