EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE: “A PLACE TO SLEEP AMONG THE CREEPS” by LIGHT BEAM RIDER

Prolific author and native son of Mississippi, William Faulkner, once said, “To understand the world, you must first understand a place like Mississippi.”  Growing up in the many eccentricities of Mississippi, post-rock outfit Light Beam Rider has sculpted a sound unlike any southern band before them on their new album, A Place to Sleep Among the Creeps, set for release on February 12th.  The band, who has shared tour stages  with The Whigs, Diarrhea Planet, Sol Cat, Into it. Over it., Free Throw, Junior Astronomers, Microwave, Heyrocco, Chrome Pony, HVRD, and Hawthorne Heights, has recently moved to Nashville; Light Beam Rider finished 2015 strongly, playing 123 shows, finishing the year with eight sold-out shows with close friends fellow native Mississippians, The Weeks.

The video for the album’s fuzzed-out hard-rocking title track, “A Place To Sleep Among The Creeps”, features Light Beam Rider performing for the attendees of an ominous masquerade party at a modern day Hotel California…I don’t want to spoil the fun, so without without further ado, East of 8th proudly presents “A Place To Sleep Among The Creeps” by Light Beam Rider!
