We hung out in a garage (yes, a garage) with Murfreesboro, Tennessee’s resident blues/rock band, That’s My Kid, recently and they played a brand new song called “If I Was Your Man” just for you, beloved readers!
The band has had a eventful year; they released an EP, TMK, Nashville’s bastion of independent radio, Lightning 100, showed them much rotation love and named That’s My Kid Artist of the Week, they’ve been performing regularly, and are now working on some brand new music to tickle our ears and scratch all of our bluesy itches. Frontman Forest Arnold says he was inspired to write the most Oasis-sounding song he could; without further ado, East of 8th presents “If I Was Your Man” by That’s My Kid:
