PREVIEW: JEFFREY JAMES at THE HIGH WATT on 11/17/15

With a hint of sultry soul intertwined with groove-heavy alt-pop, Jeffrey James’ intoxicating voice is undoubtedly set to be a game changer. Born and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana, James got his start singing in the school choir and learned how to play guitar at the age of ten. After independently releasing EPs Make Your Way To The Flashing Lights in 2012 and I’m Wide Awake in 2014, James quickly caught the eye of tastemakers and signed with Sony/ATV Publishing (Nashville). He has shared the stage with the likes of The Shadowboxers and Bernhoft and performed at The Forecastle Festival, Firefly Music Festival and Musician’s Corner.

James recently premiered his emotionally charged music video for his latest single “Good Friends” (check it out: http://bit.ly/1MzmOMj). Joining forces with producer Konrad Snyder (Milo Greene, Night Beds, Mat Kearney), smooth-as-silk single “Good Friends” is now available on digital 45 and includes a special piano recording of “Waiting For The Breakdown” (which  you can purchase on iTunes: http://apple.co/1PjHXzX).

Fans will have a chance to see Jeffrey James perform his first headlining show in Nashville at The High Watt on Tuesday, November 17th with direct support from fellow Nashville pop artist Cappa.  I had the pleasure of seeing his swoon-worthy self sing his way into the hearts of everyone in a crowd at The Mercy Lounge for a Communion Night not too long ago.  Have mercy, y’all.  You don’t need to miss this one.

Tickets for the 18+ show are only $8! Doors are at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
