On October 1st, blog favorite indie-pop band Marsicans from Leeds, England will release a 7-track album, Live At The 360 Club, ahead of their upcoming UK tour dates. The album consists of an entire 30-minute live set, recorded in February in front of a sell-out Leeds crowd.
The best part? It’s FREE. That’s right y’all, it will cost zero dollars for you to make this gem your very own. Initially the album will be sent out to everyone on the band’s mailing list (sign up here: http://eepurl.com/AbHqP), and will then be made available online to download for a limited time from October 1st at marsicans.bandcamp.com. As you patiently await the release of the album, you should definitely head over to Marsicans’ bandcamp page (marsicans.bandcamp.com) for a free (yes, free) acoustic version of their fantastic single “Gone In A Second.”
“Gosh, Susan,” you may be thinking. “I’m still not convinced that I should download this free album from this amazing band known for their upbeat/summery sound comprised of infectious pop hooks, intricate guitar work, afro-beat rhythms, quirky lyrics, Yorkshire accents, offbeat northern humour, lack of pretension, and energetic performances. What ever should I do?” Well friends, look no further, because here’s a little sampler of the greatness that is Live At The 360 Club, just for you. No excuses….and go!
