I had the great fortune to see DREAMERS at local venue The End recently, with opening support from NYC’s Born Cages, and Chicago-based rockers The Kickback. The Kickback got the party started right away with their intensely energetic stage antics; this band definitely gave it their all, and I’ve got them on my radar for sure.
It was the first time the blazer-clad, swanky-looking, cosmic rock trio DREAMERS, on tour supporting their debut EP, had played the Music City. The band started with the rollicking “Waste My Night,” playing all of the EP tunes and then some, ending the set with their hit single “Wolves.” A classic lineup of lead guitar, bass, and drums, this three-piece, with its face-melting riffs, rocking bass lines, and driving rhythms, worked up quite a sweat and completely blew the roof off the house that night.
