I flipped my script when I heard that St. Lucia was coming to Nashville; I’ve seen him/them live twice, and it was a total party on both occasions. I’m also a huge fan of openers, and when I saw that Nashville-based electro-art-pop outfit KiND was providing the support for that show, I just had to know more.
“But Susan,” you ask, “why the intrigue?”
Well friends, I’m continually amazed by the kinds of art (like KiND, see what I did there?) that are being created and cultivated in this ever-evolving city of ours, and there are innumerable melodical morsels to whet the musical appetite around these parts. Sometimes I feel like a little awestruck kid watching the fireworks illuminate the sky on the 4th of July for the very first time.
KiND, whose self-produced debut album Eunoia is set for release this June, will preview their songs at the Red Bull Sound Select show at the Acme Feed & Seed in Nashville on Thursday, April 9th with St Lucia. The show starts at 8:00 p.m., and it’s only $3 if you RSVP ahead of time at https://www.redbullsoundselect.com/events. THREE DOLLARS Y’ALL!!! No excuses!! However, if you don’t RSVP, it’s $15 (and I have serious doubt that there will even be tickets left if you procrastinate). Go have a good time!!
PS- The show is 21+ (sorry young’uns).
