“Come Undone” opens with a quiet, spacious arrangement. The song unfolds gradually, allowing Cornelia Murr’s gentle vocal delivery to sit at the center while subtle instrumental textures emerge around it. Harpist Céline Dessberg adds gentle flourishes that give the track a shimmering, almost weightless quality without pushing it into overt drama.
While working with producer Frank Maston in his Paris studio, Dessberg stopped by during the session and ended up contributing both harp and backing vocals on the spot. That spontaneous collaboration mirrors the song’s central idea. It’s about letting go of the illusion of control and accepting that outcomes rarely unfold the way we plan them.
“Come Undone” arrives as Murr prepares to head out on her “Last Run To The Center” tour, supporting her 2025 album Run To The Center. The record was written during a period living in Red Cloud, Nebraska, where Murr spent time restoring an abandoned house and reflecting on the transitions and uncertainties of her thirties.
The tour includes a Nashville stop on March 19 at Third Man Records, bringing Murr’s thoughtful songwriting and atmospheric arrangements to one of the city’s most distinctive listening spaces.
