RiverBeat 2026 Festival Lineup Banner

This spring brings a major lineup to the Mississippi riverfront with the return of the RiverBeat Music Festival in Memphis. Set inside Tom Lee Park along the downtown waterfront, the three-day event blends rock, hip-hop, electronic, indie, and jam-leaning artists into a city-center festival experience.

RiverBeat 2026 is scheduled for May 1–3, 2026, with multiple stages spread across the park. The lineup balances legacy acts, modern festival staples, and regional artists, giving each day its own flavor.

RiverBeat 2026 Lineup

The 2026 RiverBeat lineup is built around three headliners from diverse corners of the music world.

Friday, May 1

The Red Clay Strays

The Red Clay Strays headline opening night, bringing their Southern rock and country-leaning sound to the top of the bill. Over the past few years, the band has built steady momentum through touring, strong streaming numbers, and a series of major award wins and nominations.

In 2024, they were named Emerging Artist of the Year at the Americana Music Honors & Awards and were nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA Awards. Their profile continued to rise in 2025 with a win for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, followed by a Vocal Group of the Year win at the CMA Awards.

Saturday, May 2

Wu-Tang Clan

Saturday shifts toward hip-hop history with Wu-Tang Clan closing the night. Decades after their debut, the group’s live shows continue to draw large festival crowds, anchored by deep catalogs, rotating core members, and a setlist that leans heavily on era-defining material.

Sunday, May 3

Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews Band wraps up the weekend on Sunday. Since forming in the early 1990s, the group has built a reputation as one of the most consistent touring acts in the country, blending rock, jazz, and folk influences into a sound built for feel-good festival vibes. Known for long, improvisation-friendly sets and a devoted touring audience, the band often turns closing slots into extended jam sessions that evolve from night to night.

Notable Names Across the Weekend

Beyond the headliners, RiverBeat spreads recognizable names across each day’s lineup with a wide mix of styles.

Friday includes the atmospheric indie folk of Lord Huron, hip-hop pioneers De La Soul, feel-good folk-pop group The 502s, politically charged punk-rap duo Bob Vylan, and GZA of Wu-Tang Clan bringing classic East Coast hip-hop, along with a range of regional and emerging artists.

Saturday brings one of the most stylistically varied days, featuring West Coast rap icon Ice Cube, festival EDM mainstay Marshmello, dark electronic-leaning indie duo Phantogram, pop-EDM trio Cheat Codes, and viral pop-rock singer-songwriter HonesTav. The day also features several influential Memphis rap veterans, including La Chat, Al Kapone, DJ Zirk, and others.

Sunday closes things out with the party-ready hip-hop and R&B of T-Pain, art-rock innovator St. Vincent, DC rapper Wale, roots-driven jam guitarist John Butler, dancehall-influenced DJ Walshy Fire, Haitian blues-rock vocalist Moonlight Benjamin, and pop artist Lola. A special Boo Mitchell’s Royal Studios Jam featuring The Hi Rhythm Section ties the lineup back to Memphis’ deep musical legacy.

Across the full weekend, the bill moves from roots-driven rock and classic hip-hop to EDM, indie, and jam-leaning closing sets, making it one of the more stylistically diverse festivals of the season.

The Venue: Tom Lee Park
