Aspiring to bring back classic sounds from the 50s and 60s, Niles Rooker and Jeff Meloen started a blues/rock duo in August of 2014. “It was just two friends getting together every day to play muddy blues songs and make the neighbor’s lives difficult,” says Rooker. With the addition of bassist Ryan Lemp, Rooker was able to achieve a wider dynamic of songwriting as well as a beefier sound. With a plethora of new originals, the Niles Rooker Trio has been blowing the roofs off of venues all over Nashville.
