WRAY RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “BAD HEART”

What’s up beloved readers?!?  This one’s for all of of the krautrockin’ shoegazers out there…Wray, one of our favorite bands from Birmingham, has released a new video for “Bad Heart” from their self-titled debut on label Communicating Vessels:

“Recording their debut in their hometown at Ol Elgante Studio alongside mastermind engineer, Daniel Farris (Man Or Astro-man?, St. Vincent, Polyphonic Spree, Verbena), Wray have managed to capture the atmospheric beauty of their collective that comes with every live show they play.  This is not music for a passive audience. This three piece demands your attention.  Wray isn’t afraid to revel in repetition, churning confident, seamless grooves firmly in the tradition of NEU!, Faust, or Can. Their shimmering, headphone-ready tones owe much to Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, and even The Cure, but without the crippling self-absorption of chillwave, dreampop, or whatever all the sad bastards are listening to this week.”

Enjoy it!
