“Sovereign,” the brand new single from Murfreesboro/Nashville-area quartet Josephine And The Wildfront, is being released today, and I have been given the privilege of introducing it to the world!
“Sovereign,” which was written collectively by the group, explores the idea, actually the fact, that we have little to no control over what happens around us, and how the world tries to manipulate us into conformity. The lyrics are powerful, and uniquely, the chorus is instrumental. “Sovereign” has a little different vibe than the tracks on their Swallowed By The Ocean EP, which was released in 2013. I look forward to hearing much more from this group, but until then, I will have “Sovereign” on repeat.
