Hinterland’s final day refused to settle into any one sound. From Haute & Freddy and Wet Leg to Young Miko and Kali Uchis, Sunday bounced between pop, rock, rap, and everything around them before Die Spitz and Gouge Away closed out the weekend.
Saturday at Hinterland felt like a return to the festival’s roots, with folk, Americana, country, and indie rock taking center stage. From Waylon Wyatt and CMAT to Santigold, Jessie Murph, and a huge Mumford & Sons finale, the day mixed familiar sounds with plenty of surprises.
Hinterland expanded to four days in 2026, opening with a Thursday lineup that constantly shifted across genres. From Porch Light and Frost Children to Ashnikko, beabadoobee and KATSEYE, the festival's first day became an exercise in music discovery.
