Breakaway Music Festival makes its Alabama debut October 3–4 at Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater and Apollo Park. With a lineup that includes The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, SLANDER, DJ Diesel, and a strong mix of house, bass, and pop-leaning artists, Breakaway Alabama is set to bring two days of EDM to North Alabama. We published a full preview of Breakaway Alabama 2025 earlier this summer. Now, with the festival weekend approaching, here are the latest updates for attendees or those on the fence about buying tickets.
Breakaway Alabama 2025 Schedule

The daily schedules are out, and the two days in Huntsville show a clear split in style. Friday leans more melodic and accessible, while Saturday turns up the volume with bass-heavy energy.
Friday’s Main Stage is anchored by The Chainsmokers and Kaskade, bringing a mix of progressive house, future bass, and big pop crossovers. They’re joined by acts like Matroda and Twinsick, adding high-energy house and remix-driven sets to the mix. Across the way, the Launch Pad highlights house and club-focused sounds with Snakehips, Ship Wrek, and MC4D delivering party-ready sets alongside local and regional talent.
Saturday shifts the tone into heavier territory. SLANDER, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), and Level Up push the Main Stage deep into bass music, from melodic bass drops to Shaq’s signature dubstep chaos. Dr. Fresch and Mary Droppinz round out the stage with g-house, bass house, and psychedelic twists, alongside rising names Mollywater and Kymera. Meanwhile, the Launch Pad leans hard into underground bass, featuring sets from Mersiv, Kompany, and Habstrakt, with Avello and Lykwid adding their own high-energy flavors.
Whether you prefer Friday’s melodic builds and singalong-ready moments or Saturday’s wall-to-wall bass, Breakaway Alabama 2025 has organized its schedule to offer two distinct festival experiences in one weekend.
Breakaway Alabama 2025 Official After Parties

Breakaway After Dark will keep the music going late into the night at Rocket City Honky Tonk for ages 21 and up. On Friday, October 3, twin brothers Matt and Chris Drake of MC4D will headline with their genre-blending approach that fuses country and folk influences with electronic beats. Known for their viral Down Under Mix series and energetic remixes, their after-hours set promises to be both eclectic and high energy. On Saturday, October 4, Orlando-based producer Avello takes the stage with support from Kymera and Nashville’s own Mollywater. Avello has built a reputation for infectious, dance-floor friendly sets, while Mollywater’s rising profile makes her a local favorite to watch, ensuring that Saturday’s after-party will be one of the weekend highlights. It will also be a way to cure that painful Avello/Mollywater scheduling conflict at the main festival!
Silent Disco Lineup

Breakaway runs its Silent Disco alongside the rest of the festival. That means festivalgoers can wander over during the day to slip on a pair of headphones and choose between multiple live DJs broadcasting on different channels. For anyone unfamiliar, the idea is simple: the crowd wears glowing headsets, each tuned to a preferred channel, so you might be dancing next to someone grooving to an entirely different beat.
This year’s lineup mixes regional and national talent. Together, they represent the variety of sounds you can tap into at any moment — all within the unique experience of a Silent Disco.

What’s Next From Breakaway Alabama
Those attending the fest or just happen to be in the Huntsville area should continue to watch the festival’s socials for updates. The official festival map should be released in the next couple days. And, based on other Breakaway Festival locations, we expect an official pre-party to be announced for Thursday night!
Breakaway is a touring festival that focuses on the music above all else. With strong headliners, minimal overlapping sets, late-night afterparties, and the immersive fun of a Silent Disco, Huntsville is about to get its first taste of Breakaway’s traveling EDM experience.
