Introduction To The Deep Tropics Music Festival 2025 Lineup

To say that the Deep Tropics Music Festival 2025 lineup is stacked is an understatement. Here are just a few of the acts we can wait to see:

Alison Wonderland

One thing we never miss is a chance to see Alison Wonderland. She is a globally recognized DJ, producer, and vocalist known for her emotionally charged blend of future bass, trap, and electropop. Since her breakout debut Run (2015) and chart-topping follow-up Awake (2018), she’s continued to evolve her sound with the introspective 2022 album Loner. In 2023, she launched a more experimental project under the alias Whyte Fang, releasing the album GENESIS, and dropped new music in late 2024, including the single “No One Does It Like.” Her shows are a blend of fun, energy, amazing music, and dazzling production. We seriously can’t wait to see her again!

Subtronics

Subtronics, the project of Philadelphia-based producer Jesse Kardon, has become a leading force in bass music through his signature blend of heavy dubstep, cutting-edge sound design, and high-octane live sets. He rose to prominence with the viral 2019 hit “Griztronics” alongside GRiZ, and has since headlined major festivals with his genre-pushing approach. After releasing his debut album FRACTALS in 2022, he followed up with ANTIFRACTALS, a remix companion featuring collaborations with Zeds Dead and Peekaboo. His latest works include the 2024 album TESSERACT—featuring names like Excision and Rezz—and the newly launched Fibonacci series, which continues to expand his sound in bold and innovative directions.

Lane 8

Lane 8, the moniker of producer Daniel Goldstein, is known for his melodic house sound and immersive, no-phones live shows under his This Never Happened label. Since his 2015 debut Rise, he’s built a devoted following by blending emotional depth with dancefloor energy. His latest album, Childish (2024), features collaborations with Art School Girlfriend, Arctic Lake, and Kasablanca, and was inspired by his children’s uninhibited creativity. With each release and tour, Lane 8 continues to create space for presence, connection, and expansive sonic journeys.

The rest of the Deep Tropics 2025 lineup is bursting with diverse electronic music talent. Aluna, known for her work with AlunaGeorge, will deliver a DJ set that will likely harken to her familiar electronic pop and R&B influences. AMÉMÉ brings his Afro-house rhythms, infusing the festival with West African-inspired beats. Disco Lines promises infectious dance tracks that meld elements of house and pop. Dusky, the British duo, offers a fusion of house and techno, renowned for their deep grooves. Chris Lorenzo, a pioneer in the bass house scene, delivers high-energy sets that seamlessly blend basslines with house melodies. LF System, the Scottish duo behind the hit “Afraid to Feel,” brings their uplifting disco-infused house to the stage. TroyBoi‘s signature “My Style” sound combines trap, house, and world music elements for a truly unique performance. Gentlemen’s Club merges dubstep, grime, and bassline, creating hard-hitting tracks that energize crowds. Maddy O’Neal offers a fresh take on future bass and glitch-hop, characterized by soulful melodies and dynamic beats. Ranger Trucco infuses his house music productions with catchy vocals and groovy basslines, making him a rising star in the scene.

The Deep Tropics 2025 Host Artist: Madame Gandhi

Madame Gandhi, an artist, activist, and one of BBC’s Top 100 Women, will host the festival and lead a series of educational and community-focused events throughout the weekend. She is known for her empowering electronic music and advocacy for gender liberation and sustainability. In recent years, she’s used natural sound recordings—including melting glaciers—to raise awareness for climate change through music. Her upcoming album Let Me Be Water is set for release in May 2025.

In addition to live music, Deep Tropics integrates environmental and social programming with its artistic offerings. The Deep Culture Speakeasy will return as an air-conditioned stage and event space, hosting interactive workshops and panel discussions centered on mental health, equity, regenerative culture, and more. Artists including Equanimous, Lincoln Jesser, Savej, and Ruby Chase are scheduled to lead workshops.

The festival will also host the second annual Sustainability Summit in partnership with Nashville NPR affiliate WPLN, bringing together leaders from music, government, and nonprofit sectors to explore real-world solutions to climate and community challenges.

Deep Tropics is produced by Full Circle Presents and powered by the nonprofit Deep Culture. In 2024, the festival achieved an 87% waste diversion rate and remains one of the only climate-positive festivals in North America. It has been recognized by outlets including Forbes, DJ Mag, Uproxx, and The New York Times for its forward-thinking approach to event production.

Each night will feature four curated stages: Mainstage, The Mil, Row One, and Amaranth. While the afterparty lineup has yet to be announced, attendees can expect a full-venue takeover with extended hours and signature Deep Tropics production. We’ve been to a few EDM shows at Cannery Hall and the quality is spot on!

Sustainability Add-On: Eco-Band

As part of its broader climate-positive mission, Deep Tropics encourages attendees to opt in for the Eco-Band, a sustainability initiative that supports the festival’s zero-waste efforts and regenerative goals. The festival continues to prioritize impact through intentional design, low-waste infrastructure, and community-led action.

What To Look For In The Future

In the coming months, Deep Tropics will add more artists to the lineup. As you probably noticed, there’s a secret headliner covered by eight symbols. If you look up DJs with exactly eight letters in their names…you get some intriguing results.

The festival will also give us updates on who is playing at the after parties and will release a schedule. With a lineup this stacked, we just hope there’s not a lot of conflicts!

East of 8th will provide updates as we hear them!
