Singer-songwriter Cecilia Castleman will celebrate the release of her self-titled debut album with a special record release showcase in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The concert will take place on Saturday, January 25, at 8 PM at Third Man Records’ The Blue Room.

The album, is set to be released on January 24—just one day before Castleman’s 24th birthday. For her debut album, Castleman rounded up an some impressive talent. Recorded at Los Angeles’ iconic Henson Recording Studios, the self-titled debut was produced by the renowned Don Was, a six-time Grammy Award winner celebrated for his work on Bonnie Raitt’s Nick of Time and collaborations with music legends like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Elton John. The record also includes guest performances by Abe Laboriel Jr., Pino Palladino, and Benmont Tench.

Castleman, who has an inherent knack for introspective songwriting, has been busy leading up to this release. Her live performances have earned her slots supporting or performing along side of acclaimed artists such as Marcus King, Ashley McBryde, and Hozier. She’s appeared as an official artist at SXSW 2024 and performed at the AAA Summit in Boulder, Colorado.

Growing up in a musical household, Castleman was influenced by artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Bonnie Raitt, and Brian Wilson. While many artists provide you with a list of influences, all it takes it one listen to Castleman’s songs to see how they truly blend into her craft.

When her parents divorced at age 11, songwriting became a therapeutic outlet. Her journey of introspection and discovery still guide her songwriting to this day. Her record promises to be a deeply personal exploration of vulnerability and growth.

The Album Release Show At Nashville’s The Blue Room:

Castleman has picked the perfect venue for an album release concert. The Blue Room is intimate, allowing artists to connect with the audience. It is also built to be a live recording studio, so the sound is excellent. This should be an amazing opportunity for fans to get better acquainted with the artist and her new music!

Tickets for the January 25 show are available through The Blue Room’s concert event page. Doors are at 7pm and the show is at 8. Castleman will be supported by Hank Compton.
